RYA Yachtmaster Ocean Practical Course

Ondeck are delighted to be able to offer the full package of Yachtmaster Ocean Training from Ocean Theory courses to qualifying Ocean passages on board one of our fleet of 4 Farr 65 Ocean Racing Yachts and the completing Ocean Oral examination.
 
You can choose to do the Yachtmaster Ocean Training as a complete back to back package in May each year. This includes;
 
> Yachtmaster Ocean Theory course in the Azores
> Ocean Prep Day
> Qualifying Ocean Passage on a Farr 65 from the Azores to UK
> Yachtmaster Ocean Oral Examination
 
Total time required is about 2 weeks.
 
Or split your training over time. The Ocean qualifying passages that are available each year are legs 2 or 3 of the Atlantic Adventure which takes place in October/November each year. Or Leg 1 or 2 of the Atlantic Challenge which takes place in May each year.
 
During the qualifying passage you will be watch leader onboard in charge of running a watch under the guidance of one of our highly qualified Ocean Skippers and be involved in all aspects of the trip.
