LATEST NEWS - 18 NOV 09 -1200 GMT
All of the boats have arrived safely into Barbados and the 2009 Ondeck Atlantic Adventure is complete. Thanks for all your support and messages to the crews. If all this excitement has whetted your appetite and you fancy taking part in the 2010 event please give us a call.
Alternatively, the Ondeck Atlantic Challenge 2010 leaves Antigua bound for Portsmouth via the Azores in May 2010 and we still have some places available.
The message system has now been stopped. Please do not send any more messages as you may be charged and they probably won't be delivered.
Our thoughts are with Mark, skipper of Juno, whose father very sadly passed away the day before the yachts departed Cape Verde. As the son of a son of a sailor, Mark chose to continue on his voyage and dedicate his achievement as a transatlantic skipper to his father. The funeral will be held in the UK tomorrow, Wed 18th November, and all at Ondeck will be thinking of him as he arrives in Barbados and completes his crossing and memorial to his father.
