The café is probably the most famous bar in the North Atlantic. Not only is “Peters” a currency exchange, Post Office and tourist information center but an institution to seafarers from all over the world.

Peter – Since 1925 was a man who lived for us. The adventurers, the visitors, the friends, the strangers, those in need of help, those who wish to taste the only “soulful” Gin in the world, the ones who long to admire the never ending Atlantic through a window of the most mythical bar in the planet - This was José Azevedo, or Peter as we all knew him.
