The Mobile News Regatta 2009 will be the 3rd staging of the regatta, the only regatta held specifically for the UK mobile telecoms trade channel.
Many leading telecoms teams took part in 2008 and more than 20 teams are anticipated in 2009.
Two days of yacht racing offer formidable opportunities for networking, team-building, and cultivating business relationships. Participants are likely to remember for the rest of their lives how they crewed a racing Beneteau 40.7 yacht.
Imagine the branding kudos of sailing a 40.7 Beneteau yacht, emblazoned with your organisation’s logo (complete with matching crew clothing of course), past your rivals and potential customers. The Mobile News Regatta will be reported extensively in both Mobile News and its sister title Fone, generating valuable PR and publicity spin-offs including pictures of prize-giving ceremony and the racing.
A regatta is one of the most effective team-building events there is. People arrive as a disparate group of individuals and leave as a close-knit group.
