Happy New Year to you all from ONDECK Sailing. This is a brief first Newsletter of 2008 to announce that we are exhibiting at the Collins Stewart London Boatshow at ExCel, which is running from Friday 11 – Sunday 20 January. You can visit us on our stand number N066B.

As usual we are holding our Champagne at Five event every evening (except Thursday) on the stand and you are all warmly invited to come and join us for a glass if you are at the show.

Ondeck Sailing launches the Banking and Financial Services Regatta

Exciting News - Offering Great Opportunities for 2008

We are very pleased to announce for those of you who have not seen the press release, that we are now in Joint Venture with Britannia Corporate Events, the leading Industry Regatta specialist. We will be extending our offerings into both client bases.

The first regatta to be jointly launched is the Banking and Financial Services Regatta to take place in September 2008. This is for any Company or Supplier involved in this sector – full details can be found on by clicking here.

We have already had a number of leading Companies within the Industry confirm entry.

If you are interested in this Regatta, we are holding a launch at the London Boatshow on Thursday 17th January, between 4.00pm and 8.00pm. Please email Charlotte (cw@ondeck.co.uk) if you are interested in attending this event so that a complimentary ticket to the show can be arranged for you.

UK Industry Regattas from Ondeck Sailing

The other regatta to be launched in February is the Advertising, Brands and Communications (ABC) Cup, again taking place in September 2008.

Cowes Week 2008 Special Events from Ondeck Sailing

Rock up and Race

As well as exclusive whole boat charters, ONDECK are offering individuals the chance to be involved in this fantastic world class event. You can race with our professional crews (no experience necessary) on 40–65 foot racing yachts including Pindar Ocean Racing’s ‘high octane’ Volvo 60. Alternatively, why not blast around the Solent in a 55mph Rigid Inflatable Powerboat to get close to the racing or take a Helicopter ride to get that unrivalled spectator experience.

ONDECK Sailing & Powerboat School Update

ONDECK Capital Sailing, part of the Ondeck Group, have appointed new Chief Instructor. Jim Prendergast will be at the London Boatshow to talk about theory courses available in London. These can be arranged in your (or others) offices as required or you can attend the classes that are run regularly at our Greenwich classrooms in the evening and at weekends.
