Utilising the latest Virtual Learning Software you can now join a real time training course from a computer located anywhere, and it is just like learning in the classroom without the hassle of having to travel there.
Who is it for?
The courses are ideal for anyone - whether you have a busy schedule, are a parent at home, can't make it to one of our classrooms or would just prefer to learn this way.
What will I learn?
The training program will include all of the topics covered in the usual RYA Day Skipper Theory using exactly the same training materials.
How is it different?
Using the latest Virtual Learning Environment software we are able to teach you ‘live’ as if you were in our classroom, whilst you are sitting in your own home or in your office anywhere in the world. During the lessons you will be able to see and hear your instructor, see chartwork demonstrations, presentations, video and even ask questions in real-time via the online chat facility.
When you have completed questions, you will even be able to electronically raise your hand. We can check your progress by assigning online questions, forums and polls and also check your progress by getting online feedback at the end of each session. If you miss a session, or just want to recap what was covered, you can watch and replay as many times as you like. |
