Our
powerboat courses are run from our base in Gosport and conducted onboard our
6.5m “Ocean” RIB with a powerful 150hp Yamaha engine that
propels the boat at speeds of up to 40 knots. Even at these speeds, the vessel is easy to handle during basic manoeuvers.
Safety is
paramount so this vessel is fully coded for commercial use, which
is far in excess of the RYA requirements.
It is fitted with a full complement of electronic equipment including GPS, chart plotters and DSC VHF Radio.
Seating is for six people, in a perfect teaching array, allowing ease of access to the controls for the students and instructor.
