RYA 9-Day Combined Day Skipper Course with Ondeck Sailing and Powerboat School

Duration:	9 Days - Saturday 0900 hrs till following Sunday 1600 hrs	No. Students to Instructor:	10:1 Theory part, 5:1 for practical
Previous Experience:	5 Days onboard, 100 logged miles and 4 night hours. Basic knowledge of navigation and sailing ability	Minimum Age:	Over 18+ or 16-17 year olds accompanied by an adult. Minimum age for award of certificate is 16

Why not complete your Day Skipper Theory and your Day Skipper Practical over 9 days? This combined course, introduced just a few years ago, is proving to be really popular. Not only does it reduce the time off work required to get your Day Skipper but the intensity of the course allows students to get everything cemented into place for good. The course starts on a Saturday morning in the Ondeck classroom. Here your instructor will take you through the Day Skipper Theory syllabus, preparing you for joining the yacht on the Tuesday evening. Once onboard, your instructor will go through a thorough safety brief. You then slip lines putting your theory into practice around the Solent for the next five days. At the end of the course successful students will be awarded Day Skipper Theory and Day Skipper Practical certificates
