Going FARR 65 YACHT, one of four crossing the English
Channel to St Malo with a return leg via the Channel Islands.

The event is open to novice sailors and the more experienced, individuals and teams
or groups of friends can apply to join this event whilst raising much needed funds
for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The cost, including all on board meals, all berths and training (as well as free
training day prior to the event) is just £100 (with the entry condition that
each participant raises a minimum of £1250 in sponsorship) and numbers
are limited.
Day 1
Arrive 9am Portsmouth for half day of intensive practical and theoretical
training in the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) School in Portsmouth.
Lunch then depart that afternoon for the Channel Islands sailing overnight.
Day 2
Arrive in Channel Islands (subject to weather conditions) or press on
to St Malo.
Day 3
Now you have found your sea legs its time to race against your fellow
yachts on the long leg to St Malo before a welcome stop in the Old Port
and celebratory meal where you will be presented with a bottle of brandy
to 'smuggle' back to the UK.
Day 4
Return to Portsmouth.
In addition there will be the opportunity to have a day’s training prior to the trip.
All wet weather and safety gear will be included for the sailing and you will be
presented with a polo shirt and skippers cap as a memento of your epic voyage.
